Recruitment Of Players Who Are Under 16 Year Old

1st, Make sure that you tell us the truth as if you are found to be lying your account will be cancelled, stating you are 16 when infact you are younger is not good for your request to join us - checks are carried out

All new players under 16 who express an interest in joining the =8th= Desert Rats Batallion are welcome to apply as we will offer places to those who prove to be mature,

We are looking at building a community of like minded individuals who would like to be part of a gaming community, we are not after the best players to grace this planet, (Skill is a bonus) we prefer members who are active and want to be part of this growing community, when a player decides to request to join and has both posted on the forums stating this and returned the application form to us, a message will appear on the thread welcoming them to our forums and also asking them to contact a Recruitment Officer so that a teamspeak account can be added for the players use, this will allow you to join us and interact with our members.

As you are Under 16 our recruitment process is slightly different, due to past members causing us problems and constantly leaving and asking to rejoin our community, we have developed a structure so as to attempt to stop this from happening, your recruitment request form details will have been read by the Officers Council and the Advisory Council and a vote will have been initiated in which you need to receive at least 5 votes out of 9 votes allowing you to progress to Recruit (Rct.) in our community,

Before this is done we request that you prove to us that you are worthy to join us by interacting with us over a 2 week time period, you will be given the teamspeak password so that you can register and during this time and will monitor your use of it, while you are on teamspeak you will be assessed as to how you fit in with our other members, we expect you to be considerate whilst using teamspeak and not to cause a nuisance to any members, in doing this it will lead to your request being cancelled and the teamspeak account removed.

You have been given the chance to show you are mature enough to join our setup, now it is your responsibility to ensure that you do not cause problems within the community we have.

During the time you are on teamspeak you will wear your own player name and WILL NOT be allowed to add the tags of the =8th= to your name

If you decide to add the tags before you have been accepted as a member your request will be cancelled !

Your application to join us will be constantly under review while you are on teamspeak, if you have been successful in gaining the votes needed to join us you will be contacted either by one of our Recruitment Officers or an Admin/Leader who will then set you up with all the neccessary rights that are afforded to a new Recruit,

At this time you will be able to add the =8th=Rct. tag to the front of your name,

Example Of How It Works

Player 'Detonator' is interested in joining =8th= - he has posted on our forums and returned the application form to us, A teamspeak account is setup and he joins teamspeak with his name 'Detonator'

If he is successful in joining a recruitment Officer will contact him and he is then allowed to add the =8th=Rct. to his name to display =8th=Rct.Detonator on the game servers and in his nickname on teamspeak =8th=Rct.Detonator, the forums account of the player will be moved to another group on our forums which will give the player access to another section on our forums which explains the recruitment process and what we expect from a new recruit.

After you complete the Recruitment Period for joining the =8th= Desert Rats Batallion you will receive a promotion to the rank of Private or higher,

The recruitment period is set at 1 FULL MONTH for under 16's

You will ONLY then be classed as a Full Member of the Batallion - At this point you will be afforded all the privileges of the =8th= Desert Rats Batallion !
